Well last week started fine. The Stars saw off the challenge of Mildenhall with plenty to spare. I was pleased to get back into serious competition and pleased to have dropped only one point. the point dropped being to, former GP rider, Kaj Laukkenen. My new partner at reserve, Simon Lambert was flying and got himself a paid maximum.
After starting the season with a win, it was very disappointing to see the home and away meetings with Birmingham on Good Friday rained off and also the away meeting at Mildenhall on Sunday was also lost to the weather.
See you all on Wednesday when we face the challenge of the Rye House Rockets.
Attended the Press day and said hello to the many friends that I hadn't seen in ages.
My girlfriend Letitia is over here with me this year and she met up with support team members.
Such a shame Trevor is out injured and we all wish him a speedy recovery.
Rusty comes in for Trevor and I am sure he'll do a great job for us.
It's great to see Doolie back in our colours and Tomas staying with the side. Also, we welcome Kozza, Shaun and
Simon.
After meeting up with the promoters, press fans, it was on to a civic reception held by the Mayor and local council
to recognise yet another great year for the team.
Finally if you want a photo with me just see Mandy or Angie by the pit gate. Many thanks to Pat for the site
makeover, it really kicks!!!
